Under it All
Beneath these tears
swimming in my eyes
there's a heart deep inside
Words may just be words
to you
But they cut me through
See the faded tallies
embedded in my wrists
i count your sins for they do me harm.
When I'm gone, you can see my arm
and finally realize
How much pain you cased me
Beneath the laughs
Past the smiles
there's a heart deep inside
the grins, a mask
happiness is a task
Under it all
My heart's broken inside
