Happiness is Too Hard To Find
When is it going to be my turn to be happy?
All my friends have boyfriends that they're in love with.
While I'm all alone, feeling crappy,
they're with their boos that they might go to prom with.
I'm only 17 I know that but still.
Please don't tell me I have time for that.
I want someone to be there when I'm feeling ill,
and someone who I can argue with but can't stay mad at.
I want someone who can put a smile on my face even when I'm in the worst mood,
And someone who is like Emerald in the kitchen and will make me the best foods.
I mostly just want someone that will treat me right.
Someone who will just watch movies instead of partying all night.
I wish it wasn't so hard to find a decent guy.
I wish they sold them where girls could go to buy.
