Draped in full black
He stands.
Holding hands on his head.
A shattered heart
Full of remorse.
A casket opened
The body he loved
Adorned in ornate clothing.
Tears.
Flowing down his cheek.
He knew her time
Was ending.
As days before
Seeing a friendly bride
Hiding her illness
Behind a gleefull act.
And his last words to her was...
I
Will
Follow you
Into the dark.
