Depth greater than Distance

We're all a bunch of nothings trying to be somethings
And sometimes those "somethings" aren't all that great
We work just to quit halfway
Because the road to glory is too long so why not quit while were ahead, because who knows if we'll ever get there
Because "there" is just a place we've heard of
And as the shadows set upon your shallow eyelids and my demons come out to play I know my road has hit a dead end.
