Secrets
They mumbled at me all the time
But I couldn’t mumble back
No one else could hear them
I couldn’t tell them to SHUT UP
Or to keep their disgusting hands off of me
Because people would stare
They raked their nails up my back
And took me apart piece by piece
They never showed their face
Until today
One swooped in front of me-
Caused me to jump back in my seat
My teacher asked if I was alright
If I needed to see the nurse
No
I told him
As they ripped off my fingernails
They mumbled at me when I was tired
When I didn’t have the energy to fend them off
My therapist told me to send them to a safe place
Send them on vacation
Yosemite
That’s where they are now
Being torn apart by the grizzly bears
