The Face Of Me
Walk down the hall
they scream
but, but, but
Its broken, dark, and scary I repeat
why would anyone
want to enter the unknown I say
Everyone accomplishes it they state
Why cant you…
I’m only a young girl
With nothing at all to offer
This is not meant for me
This is not my destiny
I’m too young, dumb, and naive
They simply reply
So was she
and point the other way
I turn to see her face
the face of the brave
the face of victory
I turn to see
the face of me
