Thoughts
The mind is dark
Sitting upon its golden throne
Shimmering in power
It holds within our fate un-shown
It shows us what we want
For what we wish to happen
Even when there's no such chance
Dreaming everything we can imagine
It chooses the path we take
And how we will end up
The fork in the road
Some destined to be corrupt
Intruder thoughts
We can’t ignore
We shut them out
They come back for more
Yet some are blessed
A gift of brilliance
Though looks and likes
Not based on appearance
Yes everyone is different
No two are the same
Yet everyone plays
But no one wins the game
We are born to die
Destined to fall
But you won't get me down
I will always stand tall.
