Shadows
Hearts have been broken
And glass has shattered into us
Pain has risen from the depths
They resurface into our minds
It controls our thoughts of the future,
This will make us reflect our past
One day we will recover from such things
One day we will stand like once before
And one day our voice will smile again,
But for now we will tear
We will lean with bad posture
For now we will hold our head down just a little
And tomorrow we might look up
But not to far because the glass is still there,
The pain is still there,
Lingering in the shadows.
