The Mountain Scare
Most of the time when i get scared or spooked its something trivial like some behind a corner and jumping out at me.
But this was real panic this is a scare that was life threatening.
Me and my dad were hiking
up a mountain and it was a blustery day. this was a small mountain but quite steep towards the top. about halfway up the mountain and it started to rain. We kept walking up and up till we got to the more dangerous part of the hike we were almost at the top when i slipped and i was bit off balance but not enough for me to go tumbling down the mountain and into the forest's sharpened branches and roaring streams. Then a gust of wind made me fall off. panic was surging through my body i could hear my heart pulsing with my crimson blood. I pulled myself from the panic and grabbed a vine and i swung to the trail i yelled to my dad saying that i was okay. it's not that the experience that is scary its the panic that boils into fear.
Then that fear and panic turns into a scary experience.
