you did this life
Life,
You took away my best friend at age 16
And gave her the most sickening disease.
A disease opposite of liveliness, depression.
Then turned the sky purple; her favorite color.
You threw my family into a hospital to watch my dad suffer for months
Then you made me the strongest person I could be.
You have turned my world upside down.
You can put me down everyday
But somehow manage to pick me right back up.
You give me a boost into the right direction.
You are my hate
You are my love.
You are there to put my puzzle pieces together
And there to tear them apart.
You gave me the chance of my first kiss
And you gave me my first heart break.
You have made me cry a great deal
But you have also made me laugh aloud.
Life, you are my worst enemy
Yet my true best friend.
