Stand

I stand here as still as I can. My feet flat on the ground. I can feel the earth rotate. I'm on a massive ball of rock being hurled throughout the galaxy and universe. Can you see the stars? The different combinations of colors from a neon green to dull strawberry red swirl and spiral. The stars look so bright against the jet black background of space. And then it's over.
