"Your struggles will lead you to your triumphs which make you who you are." - Cassandra Clark

He has caught me.
My back hits the wall.
He is closing in,
Darkness starts to surround me.
In one last attempt,
I look left,
I look right.
As I am about to give up
Accept the consequences.
A corridor appears
A light at the end of the tunnel
I take it
He darts after me
Twisting
Turning
Going left
Going right

I lost him
Sighing in relief
I slow my pace
It's within my grasp
I'm almost free
I can feel the light soaking into my skin
It flickers for a second
Then disappears
In its place
A wall

His footsteps
Once soft and distant
Come closer
Closer
Closer
Getting louder
Louder
Louder

A shadow forms in the darkness
There is no way out

He has finally caught me

The poem is about how if you lie you will eventually get caught.

This poem is really good and I think you can also do more with it! Well, it's really good and has a lot of symbolism.
