Dweller in the Corner
I am the girl who sits
in the darkened corner over there
all alone and unwanted
waiting for someone to care
Curled up in a shell
Knees fixed to my chest
always treated like a pest
overlooked by all
never included with the rest
this invisible wall
only adds to the distress
Makeup covered scars
trying to fix scratches
called imperfections
my words seem to not make a sound
tired of being pushed around
only useful when something's violent
I shall remain always silent
so in the corner I shall dwell
this is not life
this is eternal hell
in this life so unfair
I bleed onto the ground
so this despair will disappear
maybe now I'll be found
