The weaving thread

Have you ever seen
the subtle twisting light
of the weaving thread?
It tugs slightly,
left and right
while a thought
creates it's ethereal
pattern.
Black as mourning,
brick red as hate,
gray-blue as loss,
deep purple as passion,
sunny yellow as joy,
green as the fresh grass,
flesh for life;
interwoven, laced,
ever-changing thread
flying off the bobbin
weaving the never
finished tapestry...
