The Value of a Friend
As I was walking on a forest path
Oh! The road just drew apart
One went left and the other went right
Umm...was i feeling alright?
I so didnt know which one to choose
Yeah my brain went off just like a fuse
All the leaves were yellow
So it sure was autumn
But it was cold enough
To get my hands numb
To check out on my mobile
My hand slid into my pocket
But that's exactly when it had to rain
Getting it all wet
There was nothing I could have done
Just sit and stare at the wood
Honestly, there was nothing
That could have helped me feel good
But something that flabbergasted me then
Was the arival of a friend to the rescue
Who calmed me down then
And gave me a gum to chew
Friend, why do I call her a friend?
Coz she's the one who didnt
Let my journey come to an end
A friend may be thin
A friend may be stout
But she's the one who walks in
When the whole world walks out
Unlike someone who left a friend
She could have trusted for the rest of her life
Just due to a small misunderstanding
She cut the delicate string
With a very sharp knife...
