Finding a Bone
He was the only good dog without a bone.
He did the same tricks as everyone else
He looked just like everyone else
But to everyone else he was a lab,
Surrounded by gold.
He would sit,
He would roll over,
He would shake hands.
But when the others got their bones,
He was still begging for his treat.
But he wouldn’t play dead
Instead he would growl, but not bite
Show his teeth, but wag his tail
Run up a tree to get his prize
And one day, he came back down from that tree
And he finally came down with his bone.
