A Betrayal
The secrets we shared
were not meant to be blared.
They were whispered into other’s ears.
I found out, and now all I have are tears.
I see you in the hall
but how you betrayed me is all I can recall.
You promised, you promised you would not share.
Obviously you really did not care.
You probably do not know what you have done.
Sharing secrets might be how you have fun.
Do not even bother talking to me,
while you go on with your secret telling spree.
Now everybody in the school knows.
We are nothing but foes.
I thought you were my friend
all of that has come to an end.
I told you to pinkie swear,
I should have known you listening would be rare.
