The City
The city sets a glow in the night
The stars above light the way
We can hear the music as we walk
Through the crowded streets
The sunset earlier reminded me
Of a time that I shared
With my mother,
As I walk through the
Streets of Chicago I think
Of that moment
I look through the windows
Of the store and look at
The beautiful items,
Oh how I wish I could have them.
We hear the music get louder.
We know we are close.
The stars in the night sky
Bigger, brighter, and beautiful!
We walk together in the night
We know where we are going
Towards the start of something new.
