The Simplest of Places
It's where the teal waves effortlessly roll upon the rocky shores of broken shells and gritty sand.
It's where the sun mindlessly rises and sets each day reflecting colors of peace and tranquility.
It's the place where I can forget about the world and let my troubles swim away with the minnows as my feet slide beneath the the cool blanket of the icy waters of lake Huron.
It's letting go of worldy fears and replacing them sound of the seagulls above conversing about the cold, chilly weather.
It's where the tired old sailor reels in his dinner and grins pridefully over the mass of his catch.
It's what separates the two differing cultures and lives of the Americans and Canadians.
It's the simplest of places but the greatest to me; and if I could choose somewhere to go, that's exactly where I'd be.
