When Time Ends
The end is so far away, unreachable by hand.
Swim in the dark waters,
Venture out and drown in the middle.
Underneath I’ll find the ground.
As my sky rises and my self falls,
weighed by my consequence,
do I see the blue.
Is this it?
Submerged by calm below the sun
Unable to reach up into the past.
Don’t let me fall;
Underneath awaits my ground.
I’ve let day become night,
Soon Blue is Black.
Will I not come back?
I’m devoid of peace.
Dispersed and wrecked;
I can’t let myself fall.
—Where are you?
I seem to have lost myself
Missed my world’s fall.
—Should I fall, too?
My sky is black and my self is gone.
Just my mind is still above.
The end is near, our time almost done.
I still swim in the deep
Refusing to meet my end
My soul will not fall…
I will swim past the end
And fight ‘til I drown…
