The howling of the wind among the branches,
The night so dark the air is black.
The snow falling so hard,
That your footprints do not leave a track.
A cold embrace from frostbite,
Is like icicles to your face.
A heavenly figure in the snow,
Disappears without a trace.
The stars are so out of reach,
You would need to jump to the moon.
The gelid night has just begun,
Daylight will not come soon.
