I Wanna Sing

My dream is to be a singer
To express my feelings I hide
To show people what I can do
To show myself what I am capable of
I want to be a singer
People tell me what I can’t do
I want to prove them wrong
I have a beautiful voice
That I want to use to tell my story
I want to be a singer
I practice every day to be the best
When I sing, I use all my frustrations
So I can express how I feel inside
I want to be the next Keyshia Cole
I want to be a singer
I am who I say I am
No one can take that from me
I am a singer, a lyric writer
I want to be a singer
