The One Who Cried Through the Wind
In all began when I drove nails to fasten a board to the tree in the back. The plank is gone,
but the nails lingered for a month or two and began to lose their listing sparkle and gained
a new depressing red. As this happened the cries grew to a painful moan getting louder
each day. I removed the nails after not being able to stain the depressing feeling the nails
gave me, and after I removed them with force, the crying ceased. With a sigh the voice said, “Thank you young boy, who sat for hours in my branches day in and day out.
