My Grandmother
She may be gone
Not in my heart
Every time I look up
I see a new start
The laughs and smiles
May be gone
But my love for her
Is a unbreakable bond
Sunrise in September
Sunset in March
I would never forget the day
Cancer took you heart
At the funeral I really cried
But when I look back at it
I am kind of proud
Your death is really loud
And it spoke to me know
It made me realize
Life is too short
To be running it all out
I’m going to live my life
And live it well
Rest in paradise
Grandma Dot
