Cherish
In memory of the days when my brother would hog the pizza box,
On Saturday
Movie nights.
This is dedicated to every
Root beer float,
We shared at the State Fair.
I remember when
We told corny jokes,
Because we stayed up
All night.
Or, when we
Splurged
On junk food; and
Would wake up with a
Stomach ache.
Reminisce
Of the days we
Rode around on our bikes.
Countless times
We’d fuss and fight.
Every summer we'd walk to the park,
And leave when the street lights turned on
Because it got dark.
These are a few of my
Cherished Memories
From the present and past.
I hope to make more,
And share them again.
