in the distance, this foreign place,
described to them, the whole human race,
myths and legend, their ancestors said,
but look at them now, all lying dead.

come to invade from a mysterious land,
standing opposing though hand in hand,

the sole survivors, the end of them all,
both of them stand there,
and they stand there tall.

together, united, though distant they stay,
next to, or near to and not far away,

but standing there tall, with all their might,
they seem to miss, what is hid in plain sight,
that I am still here, and dead though I am,
