I hide behind sheets of anger
The girl people think I am is a stranger
I never let anyone see me cry
People never see how hard I try
I stand straight, I stand tall
And I never, never let them see me fall
I love but never all the way
For I know they will leave someday
So I live in my shell that resembles hate
Forever waiting for my fate
