The Way You Feel
Feelings, emotions, love
Something you can’t just change in an instant
It takes time and thought
Something you can’t decide, your heart decides
Not wanting to love the person you love
Your mind says one thing, your heart says the other
You don’t have much of a choice
You do what your heart says
Indescribable feelings
Words can’t even describe
Nobody understands but you
You wish you could release your thoughts, but you can’t
Having that one person on your mind so much you’re used to it
You can’t stop thinking about them
When you try, the thought of them just comes right back
You hate it, yet you love it, you can’t resist it
You see them around all of the time
Your body tingles whenever you see their face
You can’t stop, it won’t stop
And inside you’re glad you feel this way
