Sit on the bench poem
Walking
In the Neighborhood
On a
Beautiful day.
Walk across
The street
As I look both
Ways.
Beautiful flowers
Planted
In front of nice built homes.
Watching cars
Driving down the road,
Banging loud music
Feeling the beat,
Nodding my head
Tapping my feet,
While black and brown squirrels sniff around for
Something to eat,
Dogs walking on the other side of the street
On a leash,
As I walk this is all I see,
I wonder if anyone sees me.

I try to use a little bit of rhyming in my poems to make them more interesting to my readers. I use descriptions so that my readers can understand, relate, and/or paint a picture in their minds about what I am trying to explain. I like to also use details, punctuation, patterns, etc..
2. Some ways my poetry has been impacted by experimenting with poetry were my writing texture and creativity.
