As I listen to the sounds
Of silence
I ask myself
A single thing
if the world is in fact
consumed by violence
how do we still find
the courage to sing
Even though we are
Threatened by tryrants
we do it because
Of the happiness it brings
As we hear the stories
of men and giants
and adventurous nobodys who
Challenge powerful kings
It lifts our spirits so we
May fight the lions
Who for thousands of years have
crippled our wings
