Life of a Good Citizen
What’s going through your mind
When you’re running down the court,
Only one person to beat,
Should I shoot
Or lay it up,
I shoot, I score!
Today I’m turning ten,
How totally fine!
Its way cooler than just being nine,
I thought I was all grown up,
But not yet
We never gave up.
By the third loss, you start to question your ability.
Believe in yourself,
You will find strength within yourself,
We never gave up.
The classes were a little challenging,
Studying was hard,
The hallways were full of kids,
The teachers
were my light,
And guided me through it all,
Here I am today in High School.
Doing good deeds
Even helping a stranger in need,
Obeying all laws,
Volunteering their time
Maybe all it takes is a smile,
It’s easy being a good citizen.
