Back when I was a freshman to the game of life
I had no worries but had lots of fears
No pain, no stress, just lots of laughter and a few tears
Little ole me, innocent ole me
Was like a rabbit who hung with wolves
I didn’t know my place in the world so I often asked myself
Why am I here
The quiet and lonely girl who sits at the back of the class
Who everyone whispers and talks about
I was once known as the misunderstood girl, the freak
But that’s in the past, all that’s behind me
Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s bad, to look in the past
Sometimes I like to look behind me to reminisce about the days
When I use to cry myself to sleep
I was just that gullible
But now I’ve grown up and matured
Grown this Ebenezer Scrooge type attitude
But hey, that’s how you’ll be,
When you were raised around a pack of wolves
