Stumbling

Intricately carved, cold and lifeless
Set in stone, piece by piece
So beautiful, so hideous
Evoking pain, laughter, tears, and smiles
Left behind to always reflect
To reflect what was, what will never be
Memories
Like a merry go round it whirls
So fast that you wonder if it’s moving at all
It stops and the world is spinning
Spinning around you
Standing still
Blurred lines
Dizziness
Confusion
And you stumble
Stumble forward
Into the ambiguous scene before you
A rainbow of vibrant erotic colors
Intertwined
Sewn into the fabric
Experiences
Memories
Bursting with brilliant colors
Exotic scenes
Until it finally comes together
So beautiful
So hideous
Never to be understood
Never to be questioned
