Eventually
I shudder to think of myself as a forgotten entity
Yet is it not everyone’s eventuality
 How life goes on
 Only vague memories remain
 And soon enough we fade
 No more to resurface
 Lost we become
 Just faceless men
 With stories untold
 And legends long dead
 With thoughts such as these
 One comes to realize
How we are all mere pieces
 In a puzzle Divine
To what end one may ask of life
To death it may and will reply
 For death is a beginning
 And not an end
 A beginning of suffering
 Or eternal bliss
 For what you sow
 You shall reap
 And this puzzle, this life
 That no one understands
 Has but one single purpose
 To test our strengths
 And should we fail
 To be gentle and kind
 Life will have its revenge
 Now or in the afterlife
 Yet despite the consequences
 Of this material life
 I shudder to think
I’ll die faceless and out of sight
