If all the guns in the world were to turn to
water guns,
would man rejoice in the fact the no blood had to be shed
and drink in the pure liquid a symbol of unity?

Or is it the nature of man to use the guns to bash each other.
And know that guns have no mercy.

Would this end the fight?
Or is it mans purist intent to forget his past,
his history and childhood fears.
To hold the one weapon only a coward would use.

But for the intent of saving a nation
can man let fighting end?
Because the nature of a great man
a strong man
A man who shows no fear for his county
and his people, his family and heros
can change his regrets
and enjoy the pure water.

If all the guns in the world were to turn into water guns,
Would the purist nature of man follow the longest road of history and be the beating of repeats.

If water spouted out would man not care.

I live 3 miles from Sandy Hook Elementary School.
I wrote this poem in hopes that people would think about gun control.
