Why should I cry over something that was nothing?
Why should I believe all the lies that you told?
Why should I feel sorry for someone who played me?
I feel lost and abandoned, used and thrown away
You told me you loved me, was that try or just pretend?
You made me feel special, like I mattered to the world, then you tossed me out like a rotten banana peel
The whispers, the words, all flooding through my head
I hate you and love you and can't seem to get the feelings out of my mind
Why should I feel this pain when all you did was split my heart into a tiny million pieces?
Why should I trust another guy after you eradicated my faith?
How can you live knowing you tortured and abused someone?
All this rage is building up like a forest fire gone mad
I am something, but I am nothing
Just a pebble blowing in the wind
Just a speck of dirt on the floor or a single feather flying, struggling, trying to escape the path the wind is taking it on
But it is too weak, too light, to exhausted to fight and finally it just gives up
Not me, I am a fighter, I am fearless, I am bold
You shove me to the floor but I get right back up even stronger than before
I'll show him he was wrong, I'll show them all
Why should I give up when I have a lifetime of possibilities ahead of me?
