You smile, I smile back
You assume that since I
do not cry or complain,
that I have no problems.
I wear a mask, to
hide the pain, the sorrow.
I fake happiness and laughter.
so no one will worry
or feel ashamed by me.
do not think you know
me, for I am invisible.
You will never know how
or why, you see what
I want you to see.
