High Hopes
Dedicated to all them ones who has patience and hope,
To all them ones whose got their hearts broken once and is afraid to Love again;
~
Ever feel like youre incomplete
Like there's a peice of you missing
Ever feel like a block of concrete
So still and wondering
My story's a similar theory
Lost in wonders
And a little crasy
With a few laughters
You see,im afraid of rejection
I guess we all are, admit it
So instead I use my imagination
To escape reality a little bit
Life is full of ups and downs
I get my hopes up
And watch them fall to the ground
Over and over,i just never stop
"he's so handsome"; I'd think to myself
Wishing for him at 11:11 everyday
"go talk to him,and just be yourself";
All my friends would say
If only I was brave
I would start an introduction
And tell him he looks great
And maybe he'll keep the conversation
But now you see
Where im coming from
I would let it be
And not tell him
I wish he knew
All this and how I feel
So out of the blue
He'll be the one confronting me
And when he finally does
I hope he feels the same
But until then
I'd still be wondering if he knows my name
