Payback
I miss the hope of the future,
everyone telling us not to rush.
No one listened
Nobody took caution
We all got to caught up in what
high school,boys, late nights
would be like.
We never realized future was
Hopeless
That Polly pockets, princesses and pirates
Mommy and daddy's kisses,
Running in the sprinklers
where the closest we we're to a perfect life.
Maybe this is payback,
for the perfect childhood of love and privilege.
Pain, loss and absence of feelings.
Good ones, anyway.
