To Bloom Again
Standing beautiful, strong and proud. Petals and leaves all still together as it's stem remains rooted to the ground.
A strong wind blows, a petal falls off, flowing away with the wind, and its gone.
No way to get it back, it stays strong.
Kids running through, petals falling from their rush. Two petals slowly fall down and only two remain.
The flower weakening.
A frost comes along. Killing the final two. All are gone.
Just the stem and leaves. The once beautiful, strong and proud is slowly wilting now.
Lonely and dying, it awaits a new season, when it can be beautiful, strong, and proud once again.
