A perfect plum and titian night
Fades into the dewy light.
Two windows open, confuse control
Wake the lusting human soul.

Drowsy fingers grasp at wisps,
Chasing rogue oneiric mist
And whimsy lost to jealous day
Departs a world of blurred delay.

A lucid glass twinkles gold,
Flaunting what the mind withholds;
Yet, darkness fogs the idyll mind.
The moon is gone, my dream has died.
