Bleeding for Pleasure
At first it comes upon raging anger
Or bottled up sadness
It swims through your veins
Your blood
You slice your skin open and let it ooze across your body
The madness turns into relief
As time passes the anger dulls
And the bottle of sadness spills
Turning into a gaseous form, filling the air you breathe
Numbing you
Until you crave to feel
To bleed
And as you swipe the blade across your skin
You do
You escape
For the moment anyway
