I am from the sound of skateboard wheels
running against the smooth and bumpy pavement
to the scratches and bruises on my body from falling down and getting back up with no regrets.
I am from the smell of the cool breeze outside on a sunny day
to the sound of rivers flowing through my yard. I am from the band Sleeping with Sirens, to my best
friend's giving advice.
I am from the gentle breathing to the bee stings in the summer
to swimming and jumping off high things.
I am from Flordia every spring break, eating and playing games with my Family.
I am from my house with owls and bats at night
to the sounds of wind blowing through my woods
and branches swaying in the wind.
I am from my favorite food,( Chinese)
to the wonderful essence of the lake rushing against the sand up
onto land.
I'm from the sound of rain storms and thunderstorms to poetry and to the sounds of birds in the
morning and night.
I am from everything that defines me.
I am what I make of me. what and who I want to be.
I am from not forgetting that I'm here for a reason that I'm here to make something right in
someone's life.
I'm from a box in my closet full of memories. Rocks I collect and pictures flowing out of the
box with imagination and wonderful bright colors showing me all the memories.
