Everything has changed
She sits and stares, watching him. He acts as if it hasn't happened. As if the world is still turning easily on its axis. As if she hasn't fallen at his hands. At his words. At his action. There is no pain, remorse, or, sadness. He is as he was then cold and heartless. She stands and walks away leaving him as if nothing has happened. When in reality everything has changed.
