Crying
As I cried
I wondered if the sky felt this
When it rained
As I screamed into my pillow
I wondered if the thunder's voice
Felt the same raw feeling
From all the pain
Like how the earth hurts
When lightning strikes
With every tear I shed
My thoughts started to scatter
And I begin to lose bits of who I am
Splattering,
Mimicking the droplets on my window
As I cried
I wondered, that if the sky felt like this,
Why did it ever stop raining?
As I cried
I realised
If the sky rains too much
It damages the things it loves
If the thunder roars too loudly
It only causes fear and concern
And if the earth gave in
Because it felt too much pain
Everything that relies on its strength
Would collapse with it
As I dried my eyes
I wondered if
The sky thought this much
Before it made a rainbow
