The pain
Engulfing my being
Ripping me apart.
I dwell on the memories,
Of what you and I used to be.
Like a blade through my heart,
You cut me where it hurts.
You promised me,
'It's only temporary'
My best friend,
I can't deny you,
I still feel the same.
Through all your lies,
I still trust you with my life.
