I am all alone for I have no one
They all laugh at me, calling me terrible things
I feel so far away, but I am near

I’m very cold and I’m not quite sure why
I feel like I’m floating away
Because I’m just an empty shell
My eyes are glossy and green, like wet grass, from feelings deteriorated

It’s raining
I feel as if my heart has gone cold too,
As if my soul is hitting the pavement like the raindrops

I cannot find the warmth, the happy memories
They too have disappeared
They’ve vanished courtesy of them

I hear the screams,
Echoes from my past
I close my eyes and open them again

I look in the mirror and see a girl I once knew,
A girl everybody once knew
A girl I once was

The girl in the mirror has been broken,
Hurt many times
The pain is excruciating
It becomes unbearable
And then everything collapses
Then she begins to fall…

For she is all alone in her own little world

She is the Lonely Girl.
