What is a Writer?

Do I have to do this for a living
Before I can be called
A writer
I write every day
So I must be a writer?
But am I Truly so?
My work is not sold
I do this for myself
The pleasure is my own
I have moved people
By my writing
So, I must be a writer
And if it is not so
Then I will have you know
Someday
I will be
A writer
In its truest form.

I came to this conclusion though: Writing is what I live for, and if by your standards I am not truly a writer, then someday I show you just what it means to b e a writer.
