Rebirth

soul pounding
this vibrant ribbon
catching on the breeze
shake it out for me
pour yourself into my shoes
hold me tighter
let's lose our last breath
as the sunset catches up quick
let's die in the heat of the morning
with a blanket of ice sky
meeting the yellow lemon rim
of sun
as our witness
let's die in love
