Battles
Lying here in this still world,
loneliness surrenders my heart.
The battle in continues of life and death.
But, who cares who wins right?
Both have settled in my brain,
nothing will ever be the same.
Lights go dim,
I knew death was winning.
Maybe love will rip through its chamber one day and beat these feelings,
but not today.
Time is coming to an end.
Time to let go.
Ice slowly cuts coldly through my skin.
Now I know I am gone,
only ice to be left alone.
